AORC Website - New Webmaster - Ernie Hogg

Troy Tuffnell has now stepped aside from being the Club’s Webmaster to concentrate on Vice President Duties for the Club and Ernie Hogg has stepped in to become Webmaster.

On behalf of the Club I would like to thank Troy for his hard work with the website over the years.

Although I will be the Club Webmaster, Troy will still be available as a backup to ensure somebody is always available to update the website as required.

I am excited to take over the club website and moving forward I would like to concentrate on keeping the website fully updated and relevant to the sport of Offroad Racing not only here in NZ but also overseas.

I have been working on the website for the last couple of weeks making some minor changes and updates and getting used to the website procedures.

Remember the website is not only for those people who are already Club members or already involved in Offroad Racing, but also for those people who may be possibly interested in being involved in Offroad Racing and therefore potential participants.

This website maybe their first contact with the world of Offroad Racing - let's bring the best of what we have to offer for them to view.

Part of the success of the website is getting YOU GUYS & GALS out there proactive in feeding me information for the website.

I would therefore welcome the following articles or items from anybody associated with Offroad Racing:-

1.       Race Event Articles (Don’t be shy, everybody has a different story to tell about Race Day!).

2.       Classifieds (Cars, Parts & Accessories).

3.       Race Event Photos (Send your photos, reduce to web size first if possible).

4.       Race Event Videos (Send your youtube links).

5.       Workshop Talk (Spread the word on what you're doing and where – especially off season!)

6.      Website Links (Specific to Offroad Racing, Suppliers, Clubs, Racing Teams etc!)

7.       Race Event Notices & Calendars (C’mon you other Clubs – let us in on the action!)

Only articles that are informative, non-argumentative, genuine and in good humour will be posted and I reserve the right and final decision as to what is posted.
